Golf Cart Packing List
A successful golfing trip begins with successful packing. While there are many accessories relating to the game on the market, there are some key items you'll want to prioritize packing onto your golf cart. We've created the following list to make packing easy.
The Essentials For Playing
No golf cart packing list would be complete without mentioning the required supplies: a golf back full of your clubs and golf balls.
It never hurts to pack more golf balls than you predict needing. Better to have too many than not enough!
Weather-Appropriate Clothing
Golf is a weather-dependent sport, so pack clothing that will be appropriate for the forecasted conditions.
A hat or visor will help keep the sun out of your eyes, and sunglasses are a must on bright days.
An extra layer or two is always smart in case the temperature dips unexpectedly. A simple windbreaker, for example, won't take up much space on your golf cart, but can make a big difference if the wind picks up.
It's also wise to pack extra socks. If you end up stepping in a puddle or it rains unexpectedly, you won't be stuck playing with wet feet.
Water
You'll want to stay hydrated while playing, so be sure to pack water or a sports drink.
Consider packing drinks in a cooler, which will keep them refreshingly cold. You can even get a special rack that allows you to securely mount the cooler onto your golf cart.
Snacks
Food can be a great pick-me-up during or between rounds. Pack snacks like energy bars, trail mix, or fruit to keep your energy up.
A First Aid Kit
In case of minor scrapes, bug bites, or headaches, it's helpful to have a first aid kit on hand.
You can purchase a pre-made kit or easily put one together yourself. Store the first aid kit on your golf cart so you won't need to remember to pack it before each trip.
Tools For Your Golf Cart
Golf carts can run into simple maintenance issues...during the middle of the game. If you have the right tools, you'll be able to address the issue quickly and get back to playing. Keep a toolkit on hand for those simple do-it-yourself fixes.
A Mechanical Pencil
The pencils that courses give out are easy to lose and can be difficult to use. Store a mechanical pencil in your golf cart for a much easier time filling out a score card. You won't ever need a pencil sharpener or to fumble around with a miniature pencil again.
